At the time, self-publishing was just beginning to find its footing. Her dream was to secure a book deal from a traditional publisher. Samantha is not afraid to admit that she only self-published her novels because she had no choice. Many authors choose the indie publishing arena because it gives them the freedom to work at any pace that suits them. Samantha embraced self-publishing early on.
